- Bur wobbling
- Failure to connect the attachment to the motor
- Handpiece making an unusual noise
- Head or body heating up
- Leaking water from the head or body
- Little or no bur rotation

Electric Attachment Rebuild – $199-$300
- We can perform a rebuild if the gearing of the handpiece is not worn and can be reused in the repair
- Complete disassembly and cleaning of the dental handpiece
- Inspect the head gear and drive shaft gearing for wear or blemishes during the disassembly process
- Replace the head bearings, drive shaft bearings, lower drive bearings, water line o-rings, and loading springs
Electric Attachment Overhaul – $425+
- A full overhaul (similar to a factory repair) includes replacement of all drive components in the handpiece including the head cartridge, drive shaft, gearing, bearings, o-rings, and loading springs
- Disassembly of the remainder of the non-moving parts and inspection for wear
- Reassembly of all parts and test for speed, concentricity, db (sound), heat and torque
Clean, Lubricate, and Test – $35
- If the handpiece does not need a full repair, we will clean the critical components (interior and exterior) and then lubricate and test the motor to ensure the motor runs to the manufacturer's specifications
