Low Speed Motor Repair – $145
- Complete disassembly and cleaning of the dental handpiece
- Inspect the interior and exterior components for wear or blemishes during the disassembly process
- Replace any necessary parts with quality new components during the repair
- Unlike a high speed handpiece, a slow speed handpiece operates on a gearing drive system
- Each assembly within the handpiece breaks down into 5-10 parts. Β
- Our service includes replacing all bearings, washers, loading springs, o-rings, drive rings and bushings
- Our service also includes an ultrasonic cleaning of all parts of the fully disassembled handpiece
- New parts are greased for extended life before re-assembly
- Handpiece exterior is cleaned of any debris using cleaning solution and a wire brush
- Our service also includes RPM, Torque, and DB testing to ensure the handpiece runs at the manufacturer's specifications
Clean, Lubricate, and Test – $35
- If the handpiece does not need a full repair, we will clean the critical components (interior and exterior) and then lubricate and test the motor to ensure the motor runs to the manufacturer's specifications
